Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for detecting a nucleic acid chain which is to be analysed and contains point mutations. According to this method, an oligonucleotide probe, which is 4 to 6 elements in length, is bonded at both ends to the corresponding complementary oligonucleotides of the chain to be analysed, or to their derivatives bearing polycyclic aromatic groups.
