Abstract
The invention relates to a process for marking of defective spots in hot workpieces to be tested during which, after receiving the marking command from a stationary device, a marking agent is applied to the surface of the workpiece using compressed air at least for the duration of the display signal. The marking agent starts flowing in an unimpeded and uninterrupted manner to the discharge area and meanwhile sufficient supply of pressurised air, satisfactory operation of all electrical connections including all electrical circuits, and the level of the marking ayant in the device are monitored. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out said process.
