Abstract
Creation of a device and a system for the automatic surveillance of an area and for the production of an alarm with which there is a low probability of false alarm. Use of a device with sensors (C1, C2) and neuronal networks (NN1, NN2) for pattern recognition for preprocessing and with units (fuzzy-logic) (FL1, FL2) for the production of an alarm signal (B, C) and reduction of false alarms. The alarm signal is transmitted to a control centre where it can again be checked and if necessary subsequent functions are initiated.
