Abstract

Groupe de préparations désinfectantes à action germicide à large spectre destinées au nettoyage des surfaces dans les hôpitaux et les laboratoires et du matériel médical. Chaque préparation comporte un ou plusieurs agents de blanchiment en association avec au moins un composé à activité fongicide. On peut également diluer ces préparations en vue d'un usage ménager, et elles peuvent se présenter sous la forme de solutions liquides, d'aérosols, d'humecteurs dans les serviettes à démaquiller, de pommades renfermant un émulsionnant approprié, ou encore de poudre sèche, lesdites préparations étant utilisées seules ou en association avec d'autres désinfectants, ou encore comme additifs dans les savons ou détergents. Les agents de blanchiment à utiliser présentent la formule générale M-(O-X-Y)n, dans laquelle M représente un atome d'hydrogène ou tout métal alcalin, alcalino-terreux ou de transition, tout squelette carbone aliphatique ou ramifié, tout groupe alkyle, alcényle, alcynyle, acyle, aracyle, aryle, aralkyle ou carboxy, ou encore tout alcool, aldéhyde ou ozonide, éventuellement substitué par un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes tels que soufre, azote ou halogène; O représente un atome d'oxygène; X représente un atome d'oxygène, un atome d'halogène ou NO2 ou tout radical ayant une activité chimique semblable; et Y vaut 0 ou est choisi parmi les éléments et groupes cités pour M. Le premier exemple de réalisation est une solution de 7 % de NaClO, de 4 % de 2,3,4,6-tétrachlorophénol et de 2 % de détergent dans 87 % d'eau, diluée de préférence selon un rapport de 1 à 100 en vue d'une utilisation en milieu hospitalier à titre d'agent désinfectant et de blanchiment très efficace à large spectre. Le second exemple de réalisation est une solution de 7 % de NaClO, de 4 % de 2,3,4,6-tétrachlorophénol et de 2 % de détergent dans 87 % d'eau, diluée de préférence selon un rapport de 1 à 300 en vue d'une utilisation ménagère à titre d'agent désinfectant et de blanchiment efficace mais doux à large spectre.
