Abstract

Das technische Gebiet der Erfindung sind die Umformungsverfahren für Blechdosen, seien sie aus Stahlblech oder Aluminiumblech oder einem Kombinationswerkstoff hergestellt. In diesem technischen Gebiet entstehen abgestreckte Dosenrümpfe (1), die mit einem Deckel in einem Verschließvorgang zu verschlossenen Dosen umgestaltet werden. In diesem technischen Gebiet ist es eine Aufgabe der Erfindung, die Umform-Vorgänge zu erleichtern und gleichwohl Material und damit Kosten einzusparen. Das wird mit der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, daß im oberen Randabschnitt (A, B) des abgestreckten Dosenrumpfes eine Dickenvariation (10, 12, 13) vorgenommen wird. Die Dickenvariation gestaltet sich so, daß zumindest eine zusätzliche Dickenstufe d2, d3 oder d4 vorgesehen ist. Der zugehörige Abstreckdorn (100) weist - im Falle eines Abstrecken als Umformungsvorgang - die den Dickenstufungen entsprechende Negativkontur auf.
