Abstract

A folding shoulder box (50) for cigarettes has the form of a square closed all around with a tearing line (30) that is manually torn for opening the package. The contents are thus protected before their use against the penetration of moisture.

Description

Kappenfaltschachtel für Cigaretten Folding box for cigarettes

A cap folding box for cigarettes is already known, which is produced from a blank made of cardboard and has the shape of a cuboid with a lid, bottom, front wall, rear wall and side walls. A coherent cutting edge runs over the front wall and the side walls, whereby a cap is formed which can be folded upwards for the removal of cigarettes and thereby releases a cap opening.

A disadvantage of this known, open cap folding box is that it requires an additional packaging wrapper, since otherwise its contents would not be protected against moisture exchange.

It is an object of the invention to further develop the known cap folding box in such a way that no additional packaging wrapping is required.

A cap folding box of the type mentioned at the outset is used to solve this problem, which is characterized in that the cuboid is completely closed in the fully assembled state and in the area of the lid has a continuous line of rupture which runs over the side walls and the front wall and which, after rupture, forms a cap which enables the folding box to be opened repeatedly.

It is thereby achieved that the contents of the cap folding box are protected against moisture even without an additional packaging covering before the package is opened, since the package can only be opened by manually destroying the opening line.

The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment; show it:

Figur 1 eine perspektivische Darstellung einer Kappenfalt- Schachtel;Figure 1 is a perspective view of a cap folding box;

Figur 2 einen ersten Zuschnitt zur Herstellung der Kappen¬ faltschachtel nach Figur 1; Figur 3 eine perspektivische Darstellung des ersten Zuschnitts beim Falten zu einer Kappenfaltschachtel; und Figur 4 einen zweiten Zuschnitt zur Herstellung der Kappen¬ faltschachtel nach Figur 1.FIG. 2 shows a first blank for producing the folding box according to FIG. 1; Figure 3 is a perspective view of the first blank when folded into a cap folding box; and FIG. 4 shows a second blank for producing the folding box according to FIG. 1.

Vor dem manuellen Zerstören der Aufbruchlinie 30 ist die Packung jedoch gut verschlossen, so daß die darin verpackten Cigaretten gegen Feuchtigkeitsaustausch geschützt sind.FIG. 1 shows a cap folding box 50 in the form of a completely closed cuboid with a lid 1, a front wall 3 and a side wall 9. The bottom 4 and the rear wall 5 cannot be seen in FIG. 1, but are provided with reference numerals in FIG. 3. The cap folding box 50 is produced from a blank 40 made of cardboard according to FIG. 2 and folded according to FIG. 3. A coherent opening line 30 runs across the side walls 9 and the front wall 3, their course over the front wall 3 being parallel to the upper edge 60 of the cap folding box 50. The upper edge 60 represents the connection from the lid 1 to the front wall 3. The opening line 30 runs obliquely over the side walls 9, namely from the front wall 3 obliquely upwards to the rear wall 5. If the opening line 30 is torn open by hand, creates a cap 20 as in a cap known per se folding box, which can be opened to remove cigarettes. Before the opening line 30 is destroyed manually, however, the pack is tightly closed, so that the cigarettes packed therein are protected against moisture exchange.

The cap folding box 50 according to the invention can also be handled well in a cigarette vending machine, since there are no edges or projections which could get caught in the vending machine before the line 30 is destroyed.

The opening line 30 is expediently introduced during automatic confectioning in the packaging machine itself or during the production of the blanks.

Die Auf ruchlinie 30 ist besonders bezeichnet.FIG. 2 shows the blank for the production of the cap folding box 50 shown in FIG. 1. Cutting lines are fully drawn out and folding lines are shown in dashed lines. On the search line 30 is particularly designated.

The individual sections from which the cap folding box 50 is constructed can also be seen in FIG. Thus, a cap front side 2 adjoins the cover 1, which merges into the front wall 3 via the opening line 30. The bottom 4, the rear wall 5, a cap section 6 and an inner cover section 7 adjoin the front wall 3 in the sequence indicated. The side walls 9 of the cap folding box 50 are formed by side tabs 8 on the front wall 3. Likewise, 5 side flaps 11 adjoin the rear wall, which are folded inwards together with lower bottom flaps 10 when the box is erected. Details can be found in FIG. 3.

In the region of the cap section 6, side tabs 12 adjoin, which are separated from the tabs 11 by cutouts, so that the cap 20 can be pivoted upwards when the line 30 is torn open. FIG. 3 shows the cut from FIG. 2 during erection and folding to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the same parts being provided with the same reference numerals.

Die gestrichelten Linien stellen wieder Faltlinien dar, während voll ausgezogene Linien andeuten, daß hier ein Schnitt gemacht werden soll.FIG. 4 shows a second blank for producing the cap folding box 50 according to FIG. 1. It essentially corresponds to the blank according to FIG. 2, the same parts being provided with the same reference numerals. One difference, however, is that the cover 1 does not hang on the front face 2 of the cap, but on the cover section 7 '. The connection of the opening line 30, generally a perforation, is thus interrupted and the flaps 8 in FIG. 2 also disappear. For this, however, tabs 8 'connect laterally to the lid 1. Furthermore, instead of the section 70 from FIG. 2, a break line 30 separates the side flaps 11 and 12. The dashed lines again represent fold lines, while solid lines indicate that a cut should be made here.

This second blank has the advantage that the upper part does not tear off easily if the opening lines 30 have already been applied by the manufacturer of the blank before use in the packaging machine. If, on the other hand, the opening line 30 is applied by the packaging machine, then the use of the first blank (according to FIG. 2) is appropriate.
