Abstract

Engrais à libération résiduelle lente et prolongée, revêtus d'une couche de soufre par-desus laquelle est appliquée une couche finale polymérique. Le revêtement de soufre contient un allotrope de soufre cristallin en quantité suffisante, qui est combiné avec au moins une quantité minimale de soufre amorphe insoluble sous forme de sulfure de carbone afin de maintenir ce revêtement dans un état souple et élastique au moment où la couche finale polymérique est appliquée. La présence de cet allotrope de soufre est mise en évidence par la forme en épaule de la courbe qui caractérise les propriétés endothermiques sur le thermogramme de l'analyse calorimétrique différentielle, pour une température de transition comprise entre 84 °C et 97 °C.
