Abstract

Procédé et calorimètre à gradient de température permettant de calculer les chaleurs de réactions. Le calorimètre possède un réseau bi-dimensionel de chambres de réaction situées dans un substrat thermoconducteur. Un premier milieu de transfert de chaleur est en contact thermique avec le substrat thermoconducteur et se situe dans une région du réseau des chambres de réaction. Un second milieu de transfert de chaleur est en contact thermique avec le substrat thermoconducteur et se situe sur le côté opposé du réseau par rapport au premier milieu de transfert de chaleur. Les premier et second milieux de transfert de chaleur sont à deux températures différentes. Cette différence de température produit un gradient de température sur le réseau des chambres de réaction. Les intensités de fluorescence sont mesurées pour les échantillons réactants placés dans le réseau des chambres de réaction. En introduisant les données d'intensité de fluorescence dans des équations thermodynamiques exprimant le degré de progression et la chaleur de réaction, la chaleur de la réaction pour le processus de réaction de l'échantillon peut être déterminée.
