  • the drawstring 5, will then be secured and prevented from reopening by the toggle 4, or by simply introducing a knot. This will then be tucked inside the protective cover 1, so as not to trail free.
  • Two additional closure devices in this case two clasps 6, positioned one either side of the handle shall then also be fastened to provide extra security to the closure of the protective cover 1.
  • Removal of the cover 1, is accomplished by opening the clasps 6 and slackening the toggle 4, back to the end of the drawstring

Abstract

L'invention concerne une housse de protection extérieure, amovible, non rigide, en matériau textile lavable à la machine, avec fermeture à rotule et cordon de traction (1), illustrée dans les figures (1-4) pour une valise ou sac de voyage, et dont le but est de conserver la valise en bon état et la protéger contre les dommages tels que les égratignures, les éraflures ou les taches lors du stockage ou lors du transport. La housse de protection (1) est constituée d'un matériau textile non rigide esthétique en fibres résistantes naturelles ou synthétiques et découpée et cousue afin d'épouser la forme extérieure de la valise, et présente des ouvertures (2 et 3), (Figure 1) pour assurer la mobilité et le libre accès des ferrures et autres accessoires de la valise que l'on désire protéger, tels que les roues et les poignées de traction montées de côté. La housse (1) épouse étroitement la forme de la valise qu'elle protège et présente un cordon de tirage (5), une rotule (4) et des éléments de fixation (6) (figure 4). Le cordon de traction est pris dans l'ourlet de l'ouverture de la housse de protection. Des variantes aux éléments de fixation sont possibles telles que des systèmes velcro, des boutons, des sangles à boucles (y compris des boucles à libération latérale) ou une combinaison de ces systèmes peuvent être prévus comme auxiliaires de fermeture au dispositif de fermeture principal du cordon de tirage et rotule, dans les positions indiquées dans les figures (1-4). La housse peut être retirée, lavée à la machine et pliée ou simplement chiffonnée, étant donné qu'elle n'est pas rigide et peut être rangée pour une utilisation ultérieure.
