Abstract

Méthode permettant de tenir éloignées les espèces d'insectes suivantes: (a) Musca domestica L. (Diptera: Muscidae); (b) Aedes aegypti; (c) Aedes albopictus; (d) Anopheles spp.; (e) Coquilletidia perturbans; (f) Culiseta spp.; (g) Culex spp.; (h) Psorophora spp.; (i) Culicoides spp.; et/ou (j) Lutzomyia spp. pendant un laps de temps déterminé, d'un espace tridimensionnel. La méthode consiste à soumettre les espèces d'insectes désignés ci-dessus, dans l'espace tridimensionnel susmentionné, à une concentration d'une certaine quantité d'une substance composée de: (1) une composition renfermant un dérivé d'alkyle cyclopentanone ou de phénylalcanole de la structure (I) ou (II), (2) un mélange de composés chimiques ayant les structures suivantes (III), (IV), (V). L'invention porte également sur l'utilisation d'un savon répulsif pour les insectes, renfermant également les compositions contenant les dérivés susmentionnés cyclopentanone-alkyle ou alcanol-phényle. L'invention porte enfin sur un appareil permettant de déterminer la répulsion et l'attraction des semiochimiques pour les arthropodes avides de sang, notamment la détermination de la répulsion des compositions susmentionnés renfermant un dérivé cyclopentanone-alkyle ou alcanol-phényle.
