Abstract

La présente invention propose de créer un support rigide, axialement compact et facile à monter, pour un pignon situé dans le carter d'une boîte de vitesses automatique. Une paroi de support (17) amovible crée une grande ouverture de montage et permet le prémontage de ce support. Le pignon (6) comporte un col (11) sur lequel des roulements à rouleaux coniques (12, 13) sont fixés avec un écrou d'arbre (14) et une rondelle d'arrêt (15). Ces roulements à rouleaux coniques (12, 13) supportent le pignon (6) dans la paroi de support (17) fixée amovible au carter de boîte de vitesses (16). Un cylindre annulaire (15) avec un piston annulaire (20) est logé de manière compacte dans la paroi de support (17) pour actionner un frein (21) lorsqu'il est alimenté par un fluide sous pression.
