Abstract

A device for scraping off scale from rotating surfaces comprising a pair of metal scrapers (10, 10') projecting out of an insulating housing (9, 9') having a suction channel (12, 13) therein, said scraper means being electrically connected in series with an electrical power source and with an ohmmeter. The purpose of the device is to clean from undesirable scale the metal metering disc of a tablet-making machine in the pharmaceutical industry.
