Definitions

  • This invention relates to a manually operable concrete forming apparatus.
  • Wood forming is commonly used throughout the concrete forming industry. Wood forms must be cut to fit the job at hand. To acheive curves, the wood is usually soaked in water to make it pliable. Wood forms are assembled by means of wire nails. The lifespan of wood forms range from five to twelve uses. Skilled workers are also needed for the set up of such forming and can be very time consuming.

Abstract

L'appareil de moulage visé ici a une forme allongée dans le sens horizontal et présente une grande souplesse. Il est réalisé en diverses longueurs et largeurs, en fonction des besoins de l'utilisateur. Des pattes (11) verticlales sont soudées à l'extérieur de la forme, à des invervalles prédéterminés, pour accueillir une cornière (12) en acier qui assure à la fois la rectitude dans le sens horizontal et la rigidité du moule. En supprimant ladite cornière (12) on obtient toute courbe désirée, concave ou convexe. Un dispositif de calage manuel (10), constitué de deux sections de tube d'acier dont l'une présente un alésage supérieur au diamètre extérieur de l'autre, de sorte que l'une coulisse dans l'autre, permet de caler les formes horizontalement. Soudé à ce dispositif de calage, un tube vertical comportant une vis de calage maintient en position verticale une tige d'acier. Ladite tige d'acier est fichée en terre pour assurer la stabilité, le calage en hauteur étant obtenu au moyen de la vis de calage. Chaque longueur de moule comporte des embouts soudés à l'angle droit, de sorte que deux longueurs peuvent être réunies bout à bout par une enture mâle/femelle. Pouvant être aboutés de la sorte, ces éléments peuvent être assemblés puis séparés pour être acheminés vers un autre chantier.
