Abstract

Procédé de dépôt de nickel et/ou de cobalt pouvant être mis en ÷uvre à un pH presque neutre. Ce procédé permet de déposer rapidement du nickel et/ou du cobalt en quantité suffisante pour améliorer l'adhérence de la peinture et la résistance à la corrosion après revêtement, et présente une bonne stabilité de solution. Il consiste à traiter une tôle galvanisée à l'aide d'une solution aqueuse présentant un pH compris entre 5 et 10 inclus, et comprenant (A) un total d'au moins 0,01 g/l d'ions métal sélectionnés dans le groupe composé d'ions Ni?2+ et CO2+¿, et (B) une quantité suffisante permettant de transformer complètement en complexe les ions métal cités dans la partie (A) d'agents de transformation en complexe, sélectionnés dans le groupe formé de gaz ammoniac et de composés organiques comportant au moins un groupe amino dans la région neutre. La réaction de précipitation à substitution de nickel et de cobalt est sensiblement accélérée par la présence, à titre de troisième composant ajouté à l'ion métal et à l'agent de transformation en complexe, d'au moins une espèce ou un composé ionique, choisi parmi un ion nitrite, un ion nitrate, un ion thiocyanate, un ion thiosulfate, thiourée, un ion phosphite, un ion hypophosphite et un ion perchlorate.
