Abstract

Une chaudière électrique comporte une pluralité de tubes chauffants (11) s'étendant sensiblement verticalement pour fournir de la chaleur à un échangeur de chaleur, un c÷ur constituté d'une multiplicité de briques (30, 35) destinées à accumuler de la chaleur, et une enveloppe isolée entourant le c÷ur, ladite enveloppe présentant une face frontale qui s'ouvre pour permettre le montage du c÷ur et l'accès à ce dernier. Les briques qui se situent, en service, contre les tubes chauffants (11) possèdent des profils de face latérale formés pour constituer des canaux destinés à recevoir une partie d'un tube chauffant (11). Une combinaison de telles briques entoure une longueur de tubes chauffants, la largeur desdites briques étant telle que, lorsque les tubes chauffants sont entourés par une rangée desdites briques qui leur sont adjacentes, un écartement, vu de devant, est assuré entre les briques et l'enveloppe, et entre les briques entourant les tubes chauffants adjacents (11). On peut combler cet écartement en faisant glisser d'autres briques (30, 35) dans un sens d'avant en arrière par rapport à la chaudière. Les briques dans un c÷ur assemblé définissent des canaux (32, 36) s'étendant de l'avant vers l'arrière de la chaudière pour recevoir des éléments chauffants (40), ces derniers étant allongés et situés dans le c÷ur par coulissement dans les canaux (32, 36) depuis l'avant du c÷ur. Un des avantages de l'invention est que la chaudière peut être rapidement et aisément installée. D'autre part, si un élément chauffant venait à défaillir en service, il peut être aisément ôté et remplacé.
