Abstract

L'invention concerne une pyridine 4-(N-benzyle-N-méthylamino) à support polymère réticulé ainsi qu'un procédé permettant sa préparation à haut rendement, présentant des propriétés physiques et catalytiques efficaces. Le catalyseur à support polymère se caractérise par la copolymérisation en suspension d'une phase organique contenant le monomère de pyridine à substitution de vinyle correspondant, un monomère de styrène, ainsi qu'un agent de réticulation adéquat et un catalyseur producteur de radicaux en présence d'une phase aqueuse contenant un dérivé d'éther de cellulose comme agent stabilisant. Le catalyseur se caractérise en outre par son rendement excédentaire de 90 % en poids, par sa forme prédominante sensiblement sphérique et lisse de bille, ainsi que par sa taille sensiblement uniforme, laquelle est dure et durable. Ledit catalyseur présente une activité catalytique suffisante pour une utilisation efficace en acylation, alkylation ou dans d'autres réactions apparentées.
