Definitions
- the genus of the invention pens are crayons, pens, including crayons, eraser pens, as well as cosmetic pens, such as eyelids or lipsticks, in which the working medium, ie the actual pen, is arranged within a tubular pencil led by the worker.
- the working medium ie the actual pen
- the working medium is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner in the shaft between a rest position and a working position. In the rest position, the work equipment is protected by the writing barrel, which on the one hand prevents pockets and the like from being damaged or soiled, and on the other hand protects the work equipment against external influences.
- There are such pens in a variety of ways.
- dampening pens such as ink pens or felt pens
- a storage unit for the liquid working medium is arranged in the tubular shaft and a painting or writing device protruding from the shaft, such as a spring or a writing tip, is provided.
- dampening pens are provided with an associated cap which can be placed on the tip of the shaft.
- the object of the invention is to develop a generic pin in which these disadvantages mentioned do not occur.
- the paint or writing pen according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that the working tool can be pushed out "or less far from the shaft into its working position as required, the working device being provided in the working position by the device provided in the grip area of the shaft can be locked by arbitrary application of a radial clamping force. This makes it possible to extend the work equipment only as far as is most suitable for work and to lock it in this position. By releasing the shaft, the axial mobility of the Work equipment restored, which enables the work equipment to be returned to its rest position, in which the work equipment is completely inside the shaft.
- the pen according to the invention can advantageously also be used in drawing systems, wherein these systems can have a device by which the finger or fingers of the worker are replaced, with which we keep the work equipment in working position.
- the inside of the sleeve section and the surface of the shaft facing it are formed in such a way that friction is generated by radially pushing the sleeve section against the shaft, which axially locks the sleeve section on the shaft.
- the inside of the sleeve section and the surface of the shaft opposite to it have an axially acting snap-in system, which is engaged when the sleeve section is pressed against the shaft and disengaged when the sleeve section is not pressed.
- This embodiment has the advantage that that a low radial clamping force is sufficient to securely lock the working medium in its working position.
- a restoring element which exerts a restoring force on the working medium in the working position in the direction of the rest position.
- the painting instrument can work with several different pens as working means, which are mounted next to or behind one another, in particular in a manner known per se, in the tubular shaft and can be moved and locked in the working position as required.
- Shank each provided a device according to the invention, by means of which the radial clamping force can be exerted independently of one another for locking one or more associated working means.
- an eraser device according to the invention and on the other hand a drawing or writing device according to the invention can advantageously be arranged on a working shaft, or on the one hand a pencil and a eyelid.
- one of the two sleeve sections has a clip for anchoring the pin in a pocket.
- a known feed and / or locking device for the working means is provided. This makes it possible to lock the working means in its working position independently of the action of a clamping force.
- the shaft has a longitudinal opening and a sleeve which surrounds the shaft and can be rotated thereon is provided to cover the longitudinal opening, which also has a longitudinal opening which is produced by rotating the sleeve can be brought into overlap with the longitudinal opening of the shaft.
- the longitudinal opening can advantageously be made over the entire length of the sleeve.
- a paint or writing pen for a liquid working medium which is contained in a storage unit arranged in the tubular shaft, which has one or more at one end Paint or writing device having outlet openings (mouthpiece of the storage unit is provided, the storage unit is guided axially displaceably in relation to the shaft between a rest and a working position, the storage unit with a painting or writing device in the rest position is completely withdrawn into the shaft, and, in the working position, protrudes at least so far from the shaft that the painting or writing device is located outside the shaft, and a closure device is provided in the region of the passage opening of the shaft, which Shuts airtight in the rest position, in the However, working position releases.
- This configuration has the advantage that wet sticks, such as fiber or ink pens, on the one hand, are secured against leakage and drying out, and on the other hand, contamination, for example of clothing, is avoided.
- wet sticks such as fiber or ink pens
- contamination for example of clothing
- the closure device has triangular, largely flat sealing elements which are mounted on one edge and come into contact with the other sealing elements with their other two edges and thereby form an airtight cap.
- a simple but effective sealing of the shaft is thereby advantageously achieved.
- Sealing elements made of “elastic material” are particularly advantageous, since on the one hand this enables manufacturing tolerances to be compensated for and on the other hand good tightness is ensured.
- the closure device is opened when the storage unit is moved into the working position.
- the shaft is only used when it is actually used opened the pen.
- a closing device engaging radially inwards on the sealing elements is provided, by means of which the closing device can be closed automatically when the working means is returned to its rest position.
- a ring, which surrounds the sealing elements, is preferably used as the closing device, which at the same time releases the sealing elements when the storage unit is pushed into its working position.
- a conically shaped tube can also be used.
- FIG. 1 shows a side view of the first embodiment of a pin according to the invention
- FIG. 4 shows a cross section through a pin according to the invention in the region of the longitudinal opening of the shaft
- FIG. 5 shows a cross section through a pin according to the invention in the same area, but with the sleeve in a different rotational position
- FIG. 6 shows a longitudinal section through an end region of a dampening pen according to the invention as a second exemplary embodiment with the closure device open
- FIG. 8 shows an associated sleeve with locking ring on an enlarged scale.
- a double-designed pin according to the invention is shown, with a tubular shaft 1, on which two sleeve sections 2 and 3 are axially slidably arranged, which partially encompass the shaft 1.
- a clip 4 is arranged on the sleeve section 2.
- This indicator 6 has a tubular design so as to be able to accommodate an eraser that can be brought into the working position by axially pushing it out by means of the sleeve section 2.
- FIG. 2 shows a section through the lower part of the pin according to the invention, the pin being provided for the use of drop pins.
- the 2 mm pencil lead is moved axially out of the mouthpiece 5 via a driver 8, which is connected to the sleeve section 3, against the force of a spring 9.
- the spring 9 is designed as a tension spring and engages on the side remote from the driver 8 on a tab 11 which is connected to the shaft 1.
- the sleeve section 3 is pressed onto the shaft 1 by the worker, as a result of which the sleeve section is caused either by a raster system (not shown) or by friction
- FIG. 3 shows an embodiment corresponding to FIG. 2, in which an eraser pen instead of a drop pen
- FIG. 6-8 shows a pen according to the invention with liquid working fluid, such as a fiber pen, as a second exemplary embodiment, which is provided with a closure device 14.
- liquid working fluid such as a fiber pen
- FIG. 6 the liquid washer is shown in the working position, in Fig. 7 in the retracted, closed position.
- the closure device 14 has four triangular and slightly elastic sealing elements 15, which are connected to the shaft 1 on their bottom edge so that they cannot be pushed. If, as shown in FIG. 6, the storage unit 17 of the liquid working fluid is moved downward, the sealing elements 15 are pushed apart, after which the writing tip 18 protrudes from the mouthpiece 5. With the storage unit 17, which can be shifted as shown in FIGS.
- a sleeve 19 with a locking ring 21 is shifted, thus releasing the sealing elements 15 for their separation.
- the storage unit 17 is shown in its rest position, in which, by retracting the sleeve portion 3 and thus the sleeve 19, the sealing elements 15 are again encompassed and pressed together by the locking ring 21.
- 8 shows this sleeve 19 with the locking ring 21 on an enlarged scale.
- a conically shaped tube can advantageously also be used.
