- the positioning device of the invention consists of a trocar making it possible to perforate the bone wall separating the sinus and nasal fossa by which the operation is carried out, without eye control.
- the gesture is performed as a "sinus puncture", in the inferior meatus.
- the positioning device comprises a mandrel placed inside the trocar which allows the aerator to be pushed until the opening of the internal fins.
- a "slit" type stop device hollowed out in the trocar, the end of which stops at the mandrel, assures the operator after the mandrel has been pushed, that the sinus aerator is in place and prevents it from pushing too much away from the chuck at the risk of tipping the aerator into the sinu without the possibility of recovering it.
- a fin type device will stop the movement inside the trocar slot when it meets the stop intended to allow the internal fins of the invention to pass as well as part of the aerator tube.
- the operator removes the trocar; the invention remains in place by retaining the internal fins on the internal bone wall; the trocar slides along the invention and, when it is released, the external fins open in turn.
- the opening of the fins is not due to any specific mechanism. It is the molding in this position and in the material used which gives them this final form.
- the ailerons will be placed in the folded position in the trocar, by the operator, before the operating gesture. (Fig 3). Once released, these fins will resume their original shape, deployed.
