Eine in der DE-PS 661 768 beschriebene Zündkerze zeichnet sich durch einen den Elektrodenbereich umgebenden Elektrodenbereich aus, der über eine venturidüsenartige Kanalanordnung mit dem Zylinderraum der Kolbenzylinderanordnung in Verbindung steht. Durch die Form der Zündkammer soll eine vollständige Verbrennung des Gemisches innerhalb der Zündkammer erzielt werden, so daß die Gase ohne Beimischung von halbverbranntem Betriebsstoff in den Zylinder gelangen. Schraubengangfδrmige Nuten in den doppelkonischen Zündkammern geben dem Strahl brennender Gase die Richtung als Streu- bzw. Stichflamme nach der Entzündung des Gemisches in der Vorkammer. Durch die besondere Ausbildung der Masseelektrode sollen immer Funkenbildungen erzielt werden, da die Funkenbildung auf der ganzen Lange der Masseelektrodenenden erfolgen kann, so daß auch schwere Verkrustungen der Elektrodenenden nicht stören können.
