Be it known that I, HORACE A. KIMBALL, of' Pascoag, town of Bnrrillville, county of Providence, and State of Rhode Island, have originated and designed a Pattern for Cassi- -mere or other Fabrics, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying photographic illustration, making part of' this specific-ation.

The body or ground of the fabric is ornamcnted with stripes A and B, arranged in pairs or eouplets near each other. The stripes cross each other at right angles, thus forming large checks or squares O, and small checks or squares I), and parallelograms E. 4Spots F are formed at the intersections of the stripes.

Diagonal twills or twilled stripes G connect the stripes A and B.

The colors of the body or ground and stripes may be varied nt pleasure without departing from the spirit of my invention.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim is- The design for cnssimeres,ns herein shown and described.
