DESIGN FOR ENVELOPE BLANKS.

To all whom 'it may concern.-

Be it known that I, GEORGE CADE, of Long Branch, in the county of Monmouth and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Envelopes, of which the following is a specification.

The nature of my design is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which- Fgure l is a view ofthe blank before being folded;

Figure 2 is a back view ofthe envelope and Figure 3 is a front view ofthe same.

Similar letters of' reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.

The side flaps A A are of an ordinary shape, rep- 1*resented more particularly in fig. 1, and are folded over at the usual manner on the lines a a, shown in the same figure, so that when folded their ends lap as shown in dotted lines in fig. 2.

The bottom flap B is somewhat longer than the intended length of the envelope. It is folded in the usual manner at the dotted line e, in iig. 1, over the side flaps, and its ends are folded at the dotted lines b b, over the front of the envelope, the so-folded portions forming two additional flaps, B' B', which are secured to the front of the envelope.

The seal-flap D is folded over in the ordinary manner at the dotted line j, in figs. 1 and 2.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for an envelope, substantially as herein described and represented in the accompanying drawing.
