To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, AUGUST POHL, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Stair-Rod;

and I do hereby declare the following to he a full, clear,

and exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings forming part of this specification, in which drawing Figure 1 represents a front view of this invention. Figure 2 is a transverse section of the same. Similar letters indicate corresponding parts. This invention consists in making a stair-rod so that its cross-section presents the form oithc letter L, thcrcscribed.

by producing a stair-rod which presents a new shape, capable of being readily distinguished from stair-rods of the common form.

In the drawing the letter A designates a stair-rod, which is made so that its cross-section presents the form of the letter L, as shown in fig. 2.
