DESIGN FOR A NECKTlE-HOLDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,986, dated December 12, 1899,
Application filed hf- 1 81 23, 1899. Serial No. 734,594, Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES L. UHRY, a citizen of the United States, residing at No. 82 Sherman avenue, in the city of Newark, county of Essex, State of New Jersey, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Necktie-Holder, fully described and repre sented in the following specification and the accompanyingdrawings, formingapart of the same.
Figure 1 is a front elevation of a necktieholder embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is an edge View of the same.
The design embraces a frame of horseshoe shape, having the arch a of the shoe at the top of the frame and side arms a inclined inwardly therefrom to the heel of the shoe at the bottom, with a vertical bar I) acrossthe center of the shoe. The vertical central bar is connected with the bottom of the horseshoe at both sides and extends across and beyond the top arch of the horseshoe.
The extreme upper end of the bar Z) is reflexed downwardly, forming an open hook 0 when viewed laterally, as in Fig. :2.
The bar I) is divided at its lower end and makes a pointed junction with each of the side arms a at the bottom or heel of the shoe.
The bar 11 is bent from the plane of the horseshoe where it joins the bottom of the same, and as its upper end passes over the arch of the horseshoe the entire bar lies at one side of the shoe.
Having described my design, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a necktie-holder as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
