SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,132, dated March 20, 1894. Application filed October 14, 1893- Serial No. 489L188 Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, SARAH J. Season, acitizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Childs Waist, of which the following is a specification.
This design has for its object to provide a childs waist possessing a peculiar shape or form which is novel and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in a childs waist composed of a flat central portion having widening end portions, the lower and upper edges of which extend upward, so that all of said edges are at obtuse angles to the parallel lower and upper edges of the flat central portion, thus giving the end portions of the band the appearance of bodily extending obliquely to the flat central portion.
The design is illustrated by the accompanying drawing, in which the figure is a plan View of the childs waist.
In the drawing the letter 0, indicates the central flat body portion, and b and c the widening end portions, the lower edges e, and the upper edges (1 of which all extend upward and are at obtuse angles to the parallel lower and upper edges of the flat central portion (1, whereby the end portions are given the appearance of bodily extending obliquely to the flat central portion.
The design provides a novel and ornamental childs waist which presents a peculiar and distinguishing appearance.
What I claim is 35 The design fora childs waist, substantially as shown and described.
