To all whom it may concern:
Be it known \hat I, WILLIAM H. ISBISTER, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvanim have invented and prod need a certain new and original Design for a Mounting for Book or Album Covers, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification.
My invention relates to a mounting for book and album covers; and it consists in the novel form and configuration thereof, substantially as shown in the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is an elevation of the ornamental mounting, showing the form and configuration thereof. Fig. 2 is a section on the line 1 2 of Fig. 1.
The design as shown in the drawings consists in an ornamental mounting the form of which has the general shape of a five-pointed star with an open square center A. The inher edges b of the square center A are above the horizontal plane of the outer edges 0 of the whole ornament, said outer edges c of the star-shaped sides being inclined downward, whereby the body portion of the ornamental mountingis raised above the plane of its edges in what may be called alto-rilievo.
What I claim is The design for a mounting for book and album covers, substantially as herein shown and described.
