DESIGN FOR A BADGE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,778, dated November 7, 1899.

Application filed October 2, 1899. Serial No. 732,424. Term of .xtent 14 years.

Be it known that I, JACOB M. Nnns'rno'r, a citizen of the United States, residing at Davenport, county of Scott, and State of Iowa, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Badges, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyingdrawings, forming part hereof.

Figure 1 isa plan view of a. badge, showing the face of my new design. Fig. 2 is a sectional view of the design, taken on the line X X of Fig. 1.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of the partial figure of an elk standing with head and horns upraised, the raised face of the design showing a side View of an elk, the back of the design being fiat.

Fig. 2 shows the elevation of the figure, the horns A, the nose ii, the breast C, and the legs D.

It is apparent that this design is also applicable to other similar articles.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a badge as herein shown and described.
