DESIGN FOR A BANNER.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,751, dated May 16, 1899.

Application filed April 13, 1399. Serial No. 712,929- Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that LLnwrs G. REYNOLDS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Dayton, county of Montgomery, and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Banners, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification.

In the drawing the figure is a plan view of my banner, showing my new design.

As shown in the drawing the leading or material feature of my design consists in a banner provided with a series of stars and stripes, in which A shows a border of stars,

B the stripes, and C an open space occupying the central portion of the banner, in which letters or symbols may be printed for use in word decoration of such banners, in which the banners are suspended in series, so as to spell out any word or emblem that may be desired.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a banner as herein shown and described.
