THEODORE J. A. VANDERLOO, OF PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, ASSIGNOR TO THE PHILADELPHIA HARDVARE AND MALLEABLE IRON `WORKS, OF
PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A REGISTER OR VENTILATOR PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,446, dated August 22, 1899.
Applioation'led July 26, 1899. Serial No. 725.197. Term of patent I4 years.
To all whom t may concern,.-
Be it known that I, THEoDoRE J. A. VAN- DERLOO, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Register or Ventilator Plates, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
The leading feature of my design for a register or ventilator plate is a central rosette, concentric rings with segmental-shaped gures around the same, a field of segmental shaped figures surrounding said rings, and a border of arches.
Figure 1 represents a face view of a register and ventilator plate embodying my design. Fig. 2 represents a section thereof on line fr, Fig. 1.
In the drawings, A designates a register or ventilator plate consisting of the central rosette B, the concentric rings C, the segments D E F Gr, and the arches H.
The segments D overlap each other and form a circular iigure around the rosette B. The segments E and F are disposed Within the concentric rings C, and the segments G compose a field around the outer ring C, said segments being in pairs, producing ellipticalshaped figures.
The arches H constitute the border of the plate and surround the field of segments G.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a register and ventilator plate substantially as shown and described.
THEODORE J. A. VANDERLOO.'
