To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JACOB F. HOKE, J r.,'a citizen of the United States, residing at Sullivan, in the county of Sullivan and State of Indiana, have invented a new and original Design for Brush-Heads, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a new and original design for brush-heads and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a front view; Fig. 2, an end view; Fig. 3, a cross-section, and Fig. 4 a view of the bottom of the brush-head.
The leading feature of my design consists in a brush-head having a double-inclined bottom surface the parallel inclined faces of which are provided with parallel rows of holes containing a double row of tufts arranged par- 'allel to each other, the free ends of which extend at an oblique angle from the sides of the said head.
In the said drawings the reference-numeral 1 indicates the brush-head, provided with a double-inclined bottom surface 2, the parallel inclined faces 3 4 of which are provided with longitudinal parallel rows of holes 5 6, containingadouble row of tufts 7 8, arranged parallel to each other, which tufts extend at an oblique angle to the sides of the brush-head 1, as shown at 9. The tufts at each end of the brush-head extend at an oblique angle to the ends of the brush-head, and the top surface of the brush-head is provided with holes 10.
My design presents a brush-head of novel, pleasing, and distinguishing appearance.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is- The design for a brush-head herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand in presence of two subscribing witnesses.
