To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, EDWIN Jon): GODFREY, of the. city, county, :nid Stilte of New York, have invented n. new and originel Design forMourning-Card; and I do hereby deelnre the ibllowing to he :t full, clear, nnd exnct description thereof', which will enable those skilled in the nrt to xnnlie :md use the sanne, reference being had to the necoinpmlying drawing, forming part of this specification, which drawing represents n f'nce view of' this design.

My design consists in a semi-cylindricalescutcheon, separated from the bottom of th onrd, on its convex side, by a. border composed oi' a. succession of senilops, while the outside border of the onrd itself consists of o wide black line, with ar narrow light edge on its outside in such a manner that a mourning-card of a novel and elegant appearance is produced.
