UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
LUOY II. GAINES, OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE.
DESIGN FOR A GAME-BOARD.
' To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, LUCY H. GAINES, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chattanooga, in the county of Hamilton and State of Tennessee, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Game-Board, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a game-board; and the essential features reside in the design as illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which shows a plan view of the game-board embodying the design. a
The numeral 1 designates a square board having lines 2 at a distance inwardly from and parallel with the side edges thereof and intersecting at the extremities to form cornersquares 3, in which are colored stars 4. Between the lines 2 and the edges of the board are a plurality of parallel short lines 5 at right angles to said edges and lines 2. The lines 2 inclose a space 6, having a central field in the form of a square 7, with rounded corners 8, and having inner lines 9 parallel with the outer lines of said square? and connected by shorter lines 10 at an angle thereto and which radiate at the corners from central colored bars 11, which are diagonally disposed. The lines 9 of the square 7 also inclose a space having concentric circles 12 in the center thereof, lines 13 radiating from a central blank space 14 to the inner circle.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is The design for a game-board, as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my own I have hereto affixed my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
