DESIGN FOR A GAME-BOARD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,312, dated March 31, 1896.
Application filed August/3,1395. Serial No. 558,024. Term of patent 3i years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWIN P. SLOCOMB, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of \Vilmington, in the county of New Castle and State of Delaware, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Game-Boards; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which forms a part of this specification.
The drawing is a representation of the invention and is a top plan view.
This invention relates to a certain new and original design for game-boards; and it con sists in the novel form and configuration thereof, as hereinafter described, and illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
On a circular field A is marked a polygon B. \Vithin this polygon is inscribed a sec ond polygon having the same number of sides as the first. Connecting the angles of the two similar polygons is a series of radial lines E. At the center of the field is a star-shaped figure F, which presents a central opening f. At each angle of both polygons is seen an opening a, and the outer polygon presents a similar opening I) midway between each of the openings a.
Having thus described the invention, what I claim is The design for a game-board substantially as herein shown and described.
