DESIGN FOR A WALL OR VENEER TIE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,444, dated April 30, 1901.
Application filed. March 29, 1901. Serial No. 53,5{50- Term of patent 14 years.
T0 at whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES P. RUTTY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Wall or Veneer Ties, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
This design relates to the shape or configuration of wall or veneer ties.
The accompanying drawing represents a perspective view of a wall or veneer tie embodying my design.
The leading feature of my design consists of a bar or strip composed of a horizontal head portion, a horizontal point arranged at a higher level, and an upright portion connecting the head portion with the point, the head portion being provided with a flat head,which has projecting barbs or lips atits inner edges. Referring to the drawing, A represents the horizontal head portion; B, the fiat head formed at one end of the same; 0, the barbs formed on the inner edges of the head; d, the vertical portion extending upwardly from the opposite end of the head portion, and e is the point extending horizontally from the upper end of said vertical portion.
What I claim is The design for a wall or veneer tie, substantially as herein shown and described.
