Description

DESIGN.
H. C. FRANK. GUFF HOLDER STAND. No. 21,876. Patented 0013.4,1892.
- card. The lowermost step is UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
HENRY C. FRANK,
OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,876, dated October 4, 1892.
Application filed June 8, 1892. Serial 110.4%,998. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY C. FRANK, acitizen of the United States, residing and doing business in the city and county of New York, in the State of New Y0rk,have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Stand for Cuff-Holders, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, showing the design in full.
The design applies to a cuflE-holder stand of past-eboard or other material.
The leading feature of my design consists in a representation on a flat surface of a series of steps surrounding a tall central shaft. A sheet of pasteboard or analogous thin card is cut so that its outline is the outline of the steps and shaft. The mortar lines and the edges of the steps extending across the face are represented by horizontal lines printed or otherwise produced on the flat surface of the higher than the others and may carry any words. The top of the central shaft is beveled off at each corner; but these features are not absolutely necessary to the design, the essential feature of which is the series of steps surrounding the central shaft.
The accompanying drawing forms a part of this specification and represents my design in perspective.
Referring to the drawing, A is the shaft, and o. the beveled upper corners thereof. 13 is the uppermost step; C, the next step; D, the third, and so on, each being larger in horizontal dimensions than the step above it.
"What I claim is- The design for a cud-holder stand, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the design above 0 set forth I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
HENRY C. FRANK. Witnesses:
CHARLES R. SEARLE, M. F. BOYLE.
