DESIGN FOR A HAND-STAMP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,469, dated October 11, 1898.
Application filed September 12, 1898. Serial No. 690,810. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOSEPH ROTIISCHILD, of the city of New York, borough of Manhattan, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Hand-Stamp, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both the figures.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a handstamp, showing my design; and Fig. 2 is a plan View of the same.
The design consists of a base or body A,
from which depends the characterstrip 13, a handle 0 extending upward from the middle of the base or body, said handle having a fiattened portion 0 in a plane approximately parallel to the inner face of the base-block A.
The leading feature of the design consists of the handle sol-mounting the base or body and having a plane surface at one side.
I claim The design for a hand-stamp herein shown and described.
