DESIGN FOR A CAP FOR EXPLODING DYNAMITE-CARTRIDGES.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,949, dated June 28, 1898.

Application filed May 23, 1898. Serial No. 631,613. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom, it may concern:

lie it known that I,\YILLIAM P. FERGUSON, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of New York, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Caps for ExplodingDynwhite-Cartridges, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

The essential feature of my design consists in a shell for exploding dynamite-cartridges having a cylindrically-shaped body portion tapering at one end to a pointand diverging at the opposite end into a funnel shape.

In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a view in side elevation. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal central section, and Fig. section.
