Be it known that I, EDWARD DITHRIDGE, of the city of Pittsburg, in the county of Allegheny, and State of Pennsylvania, hve originated and designed a new Design for n. Reflector for illuminating purposes, of which the following is a full, clear, and exuct description, reference being had to the drawing accompanying this specification, and forming part' thereof, and in whieh- Figure 1 is a front view of my improved reflector, and Figure 2 is :t sectional view through the line :l: x in Iig. 1. t The r'ecctor is made of glass, and is hollow, the interior surface being lined with n deposit of silver in the usual manner. The genera-l surface of the face of the reiiector is concave, but instead of having n smooth unbroken surface, there is a series of circular depressions or concavities arranged around a central circular depression, c, the diameter of the depressions in each circle increasing toward the circumference, as shown in the drawings.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is- The design for reeetor for illuminating purposes, hereinbefore set forth and shown. In testimony whereof I, the said EDWARD DITHRIDGE, have hereunto set my hand.
