Be it known that I, ELEMIR J. NEY, of Lowell, in the county of Middlesex, and State of Massachusetts, have originated and designed a. new Pattern for Carpets o1' other fabrics, of which the following is a, full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.

A is a. brauch of leaves and berries resting on bars B :ind C; sitid bars running at right :ingles to each other; when matched will overlap each other and form diamonds, the particular forms of which are shown in the drawings. The rest ofthe design is occupied by sprigs and small dots. lhe colors emp'ioyed for the diferent portions of the design may be varied to suit the tn-ste and wish of the manufacturer.
