TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that I, THOMAS BOUDREN, of Jersey City, in the county of Hudson, in the State of New Jersey, have invented or produced a new and original Design for Coach Lamps; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description of the same. The accompanying drawings form a part of this specification. 4
Figure 1 is a view looking toward the side of the carriage.
Figure 2 is a View looking toward the front of the carriage.
The lamp shown in the drawings is that intended for the right-hand side of the carriage. The lamp for the left-hand side of the carriage is precisely similar, except that the projecting part is on the reverse side, so as to be always turned towards the horses. The drawings show the entire body of the lamp, and all to which my invention relates.
Similar letters of reference indicate like parts in both the figures.
A is thc body of the lamp; B is the bottom; C is the stem; and D sthe head. E is aaring projection dared as represented,` or made in the form of a portion of a conc. This may be made more ornamental in appearance by japanning, plating, or any other approved method. G is a bevellcd glass litted in the projection E, as represented. This part, E and G, is turned toward the front or in the direction toward which the carriage is adapted to he moved. The flaring form of my projection E condnces greatly 'to the tasty and attractive appearance of the lamp.
Having now fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for coach lamp, as herein described and shown.
THOMAS BOUDREN.
