To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM A. SoHLEI- CHER, of Cleveland, in the county of Guyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented a new and original Designfor Buckles, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
My invention relates to a new and original design for a buckle and consists in a buckle of the shape and configuration hereinafter described and illustrated.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 shows a plan view of a buckle embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.
In the drawings, 2, 2 represent the parallel end bars formed as shown in the drawings with wide, substantially flattened surfaces with notches 6 formed at each end where they are merged into the parallel side bars 3 which are of bowed form as shown in side elevation in Fig. 2.
4 is the cross bar which is substantially fiat and comparatively wide and is curved as shown in the drawings, the curve being convex on one face or edge and concave 0n the other. Projecting upwardly from the cross bar 4 and curved at the point where it joins on to the cross bar as shown is a substantially vertical, projecting post 5 extended upwardly to a point substantially in the plane of the end bars 2, and having a longitudinally projecting hook or beak convex on its upper face and horizontal on its lower face as shown in the drawings.
I claim- The design for a buckle substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set Witnesses:
