SEEING-TRIP yon PLows.
To .alljwho'r n' itn my concern:
' v Be t known that I, Lnwrs E. WATERMAN,
. for Plows, ofwhich the a citize'n ofthe United States, residing at Rockford, in the county of Vinnebago and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and 'useful Improvements in Spring-Trips following is a specification,
The object, of this invention is to hold the ploy to its Work in a yielding manner.
In the accompanyin drawings, Figure 1 v is a perspective view 0 the plow in its-workframe as a. whole and the plowing mg position. Fig. 2 is a perspective View of the glow in its upturned position. Fig. 3 is a plan view of a' wheeled plow to which my 1m rovements are connected, i

Patented Nov, 3,1908. I
A rod 20 has'one end located between the r links 18 and is connected thereto by the bolt' 21. This rod 20 extends through an opening in the branch .17, and the rod. A washer 23 is located on the rod 20 andrests in engagement with thebranch 17. A nut 24 is turned in engagement .with the screw-threaded The upper-end 25 o the branch 17 tests in contact with the rear edge of the links 18 when the plow is in working position and acts as a stop to the downward movement of the plow beam; i When the plow is I shown at Fign 'lv of the drawings, t e links 18 will be in line with the bar 14 and hand,- .-leVer,-12,-and\-the p1ow=beam will rest on the projection 26 extendin fromcthe' arm 5 through which the b0 t 13 passes.
