A paste tube closure comprising a neck rising from the tube, said neck being of segmental form and including a pair of side walls converging at one end and an arcuate end wall connecting the other end of said side walls and provided with a discharge opening, a boss at the converging ends of said side walls and having an internally threaded bore opening through the top of said neck, a screw threaded in said bore and a closure carried by the screw for swinging into and out of position with respect to the opening upon the manipulation of the screw, said closure including an apron adapted to bear against the arcuate end wall of the neck when the closure is in its closed position, said closure and apron being movable vertically during the manipulation of the screw.

A paste tube closure comprising a neck rising from the tube, said neck being of segmental form and including a pair of side walls converging at one end and an arcuate end wall connecting the other end of said side walls and provided with a discharge opening, a boss at the converging ends of said side walls and having an internally threaded bore opening through the top of said neck, a screw threaded in said bore and a closure carried by the screw for swinging into and out of position with respect to the opening upon the manipulation of the screw, said closure including an apron adapted to bear against the arcuate end wall of the neck when the closure is in its closed position, said closure and apron being movable Vertically during the manipulation of the screw and manipulating means at the outer end of the screw.

A paste tube closure comprising a neck rising from the tube and including a discharge opening, and an internally threaded bore opening through the top of said neck, a screw threaded in said bore and a closure carried by the screw for swinging into and out of position with respect to the opening upon the manipulating of the screw, said closure including an apron adapted to bear against the discharge opening of the neck when the closure is in its closed position, said closure and apron being movable vertically during the manipulation of the screw and manipulating means at the outer end of the screw.
