IMPROVEMENT IN SLEEVE-PROTECTORS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 203,676, dated May 14, 1878 application filed the letters of reference marked thereon.
My invention consists in constructing a cuff and shirt-sleeve protector out of a piece of paper or other suitable fabric or material, cut or stamped into such a form that it will fit over any shirt wristband and sleeve by the ends overlapping each other, and made to adjust themselves over the arm by the aid of an elastic rubber band attached by suitable fast enings to the cuff.

Referring to the drawing, Figure 1 is a side view of my improved self-adjusting cuff and sleeve protector. Fig. 2 is a plan sectional View, and Fig. 3 is a plan view of the cuff before the elastic band is attached thereto.

I am aware of the patent granted to O. H. Dunn, July'27, 1875, No. 165,921, and such I do not claim; but
I desire to claim-- As a new article of manufacture, the selfadjusting cufi' or sleeve protector, consisting of the cuff A, provided with the elastic band B and fastening devices 0 c, constructed and arranged substantially as described.
