Description

    PRIORITY CLAIM
  • This non-provisional application claims priority to and the benefit of Indian Patent Application No. 202211030984, filed May 30, 2022, which is incorporated entirely herein as if restated in full.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates a smoking device. Specifically, the present invention relates to a tobacco smoking device. More specifically, the present invention relates to field of hookah bowl assembly.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • In today's culture hookah is most widely used in the relaxing parties whether small gathering parties or community parties. Hookah is also widely used at domestic level as well as at commercial level by cafes/bars/restaurants.
  • While setting up a hookah, dismantling, cleaning and assembling is required each time it is used. A typical hookah is very complicated in its design and has several components e. g. hookah base, down stem, stem heart, hookah stem, coal tray, bowl's stem, hookah bowl, purge valve, hose connecter, hose and hose handle. A perfectly assembled hookah requires its components are fixed air tightly. These components are air tight fitted with each other using various rubber spacers. Due to complicated design and its several components; dismantling, cleaning and reassembling makes hookah set up a tedious and time-consuming process. Further, release of oily tar results in deposits of tar and oily/particulate debris everywhere in the hookah, complete removal of which is impossible due to its complicated design. Incomplete cleaning also results into flavor overlapping upon repeated use. Further, deposit of such oily tar and its chemical degradations during repeated use also raise an alarm towards health as inhalation of tar and chemical products by its chemical degradation are mainly behind the cause of cancer. Further, oily tar deposits loosen fittings of its components, especially the rubber spacers and needs frequent replacement, which ultimately increases operational cost.
  • Hookah bowl assembly is one of the most important as well as complicated in its design which hamper its cleaning and functionality. Firstly, it comprises a wide perforated bowl-shaped upper portion which turns into a lower narrower tube portion. such complicated design makes hookah bowl difficult to clean which ultimately allows oily tar residue to deposit inside it. Further, the existing hookah bowl assembly involves several other components e.g. rubber spacers, hookah stem, stem heart, down stem etc. to be fitted in hookah base. Use of multiple components makes it difficult to dismantle, clean and reassemble the hookah bowl assembly every time and decrease its overall operational efficiency. Also, the rubber spacers used in it need replacement very frequently as the oily tar deposits results into loosening of their fitting. Further, most of the hookah bowl itself is made up of fragile ceramic material which requires careful handling during operation as well as in the supply chain.
  • The complicated design of hookah bowl assembly makes its dismantling, cleaning and reassembling tedious and time-consuming irrespective of its use whether domestically or commercially. However, in case of commercial use, complicated design and its tedious setting up process of hookah bowl assembly (dismantling, cleaning and reassembling) decrease its overall operational efficiency and raise the operational cost of hookahs. Further, it limits repeated use of hookah to certain extent due to requirement of frequent dismantling, cleaning and reassembling. Incomplete cleaning also cause disturbance between molasses and results into flavor overlapping. Further, deposit of such oily tar and its chemical degradations during repeated use also raise an alarm towards health as consumption of tar and chemical products by its chemical degradation are mainly behind the cause of cancer. Ultimately, there is an urgent need of a hookah apparatus which is devoid of drawbacks of above-mentioned existing hookah apparatus and can provide cost effective solution.
  • Therefore, the inventor of the present invention has come up with an innovative hookah bowl assembly which is devoid of above-mentioned drawbacks such as complicated design, tedious setting up (dismantling, cleaning and reassembling). Further, the innovative hookah bowl assembly disclosed herein comprises minimum components resulting in quick setting up (dismantling, cleaning and reassembling), complete dismantling allowing complete cleaning, minimal replacement of its components and overall lower operational cost. Moreover, the hookah bowl assembly of the present invention has cleaning friendly design which facilitate complete cleaning quickly results in eliminating flavor overlapping, and health hazards arising out of oily tar deposits and its chemical degradation.

A view of typical hookah is depicted in FIG. 1 . Further, deposit of such oily tar and its chemical degradations during repeated use also raise an alarm towards health as inhalation of tar and chemical products of its chemical degradation are mainly behind the cause of cancer. Further, oily tar deposits also loosen fittings of its components, especially the rubber spacers and need frequent replacement, which ultimately increases operational cost of hookah apparatus.
  • The inventor of the present invention has come up with an innovative hookah bowl assembly which is devoid of above-mentioned drawbacks such as complicated design, tedious setting up (dismantling, cleaning and reassembling) process. Further, the innovative hookah bowl assembly disclosed herein comprises minimum components resulting in quick setting up (dismantling, cleaning and reassembling) and dismantling allowing complete cleaning, minimal replacement of its components and overall lower operational cost. Moreover, the hookah bowl assembly of the present invention has cleaning friendly design which facilitate complete cleaning quickly which results in eliminating/minimizing flavor overlapping, and health hazards arising out of oily tar deposits and chemical products of its chemical degradation.

  • In another embodiment, the present invention discloses a hookah bowl assembly which incorporates bowl's stem, hookah stem and down stem in its design to minimize the components of the hookah bowl assembly.
  • In another embodiment, the present invention discloses a hookah bowl assembly which is easy to dismantle, clean and reassemble and increase overall operational efficiency.
  • In another embodiment, the present invention discloses a hookah bowl assembly which minimizes operational cost of hookah.
  • In another embodiment, the present invention discloses a hookah bowl assembly which eliminates the flavor overlapping.
  • In another embodiment, the present invention discloses a hookah bowl assembly which minimizes health hazards due to oily tar deposits and chemical products of its chemical degradation.
