- The disclosure and prior art relates to cooler devices and more particularly pertains to a new cooler device for retaining a 20 oz beverage bottle at a chilled temperature.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a first cylinder that may have a beverage bottle positioned therein. The first cylinder is comprised of a thermally insulating material to retain the beverage bottle at a chilled temperature. A second cylinder is provided and the second cylinder is positioned around the beverage bottle. The second cylinder abuts the first cylinder when the second cylinder is positioned around the beverage bottle. The second cylinder is comprised of a thermally insulating material to retain the beverage bottle at a chilled temperature.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a beverage cooler assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a bottom view of a first cylinder of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a top view of second cylinder of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 5 is a cross sectional view taken along line 5-5 ofFIG. 3 of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new cooler device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 5 , thebeverage cooler assembly 10 generally comprises afirst cylinder 12 that may have abeverage bottle 14 positioned therein. Thebeverage bottle 14 may be a 20 oz beverage bottle of any conventional design. Thefirst cylinder 12 is comprised of a thermally insulating material such as foam rubber or the like. Thus, thefirst cylinder 12 retains thebeverage bottle 14 at a chilled temperature. - The
first cylinder 12 has abottom wall 16 and aperipheral wall 18 extending upwardly therefrom. Theperipheral wall 18 has adistal edge 20 with respect to thebottom wall 16 and thedistal edge 20 defines anopening 22 into thefirst cylinder 12. The opening 22 insertably receives abottom end 24 of thebeverage bottle 14 having thebottom end 24 sitting on thebottom wall 16 of thefirst cylinder 12. Thebottom wall 16 has anaperture 26 extending therethrough to drain condensation from thebeverage bottle 14 outwardly from thefirst cylinder 12. - A
second cylinder 28 is provided and thesecond cylinder 28 is positioned around thebeverage bottle 14. Thesecond cylinder 28 abuts thefirst cylinder 12 when thesecond cylinder 28 is positioned around thebeverage bottle 14. Thesecond cylinder 28 is comprised of a thermally insulating material such as foam rubber or the like. Thus, thesecond cylinder 28 retains thebeverage bottle 14 at a chilled temperature. - The
second cylinder 28 has atop wall 30 and aperipheral wall 32 extending downwardly therefrom. Theperipheral wall 32 corresponding to thesecond cylinder 28 has adistal edge 34 with respect to thetop wall 30. Thedistal edge 34 corresponding to theperipheral wall 32 defines anopening 36 into thesecond cylinder 28. Theopening 36 corresponding to thesecond cylinder 28 insertably receives atop end 38 of thebeverage bottle 14. - The
distal edge 34 corresponding to thesecond cylinder 28 abuts thedistal edge 20 corresponding to thefirst cylinder 12 when thebeverage bottle 14 is positioned in thesecond cylinder 28. Thetop wall 30 has ahole 40 extending therethrough. Thetop end 38 of thebeverage bottle 14 extends through thehole 40 when thebeverage bottle 14 is positioned in thesecond cylinder 28. Thus, a beverage in thebeverage bottle 14 may be consumed. - In use, the
bottom end 24 of thebeverage bottle 14 is inserted into thefirst cylinder 12. Thesecond cylinder 28 is positioned around thebeverage bottle 14 having thedistal edge 34 of thesecond cylinder 28 abutting thedistal edge 20 of thefirst cylinder 12. Thetop end 38 of thebeverage bottle 14 extends outwardly through thehole 40 when thesecond cylinder 28 is positioned on thebeverage bottle 14. Thus, the beverage in thebeverage bottle 14 may be drunk out of thetop end 38 of thebeverage bottle 14. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
