- (1) Description
- As shown in
FIGS. 1 through 10 , the present invention relates to eyelash extension tray and, more particularly, to a tray for holding eyelash extensions where at least a portion of the tray has a concave shape. The tray can be made of any material and formed in any shape to hold a plurality of eyelash extensions, provided that a portion of the tray has a concave shape (surface). For example, the board can have a concave portion along, or a concave portion and a convex portion, or a concave portion and a flat portion, or any other combination as desired. The eyelash extensions are typically adhered (using tape, glue, etc.) to the tray and used by an eyelash technician. They can be adhered to the tray individually (as individual lashes) or on a strip as are commonly referred to as eyelash strips, or any combination thereof. The eyelash technician would then use tweezers (or fingers, etc.) to grasp one or more eyelash extensions and retrieve the eyelash extensions from the tray prior to applying the eyelash extensions directly to the subject's face, eyelid, or natural lashes. - An advantage to having a concave portion is that the tips of lashes do not flare out such as would occur on a convex shape) and, instead, get pressed together. For users who use “volume lashes”, this assists the technician or user to pick up the volume lashes together since the tips press toward one another.
- The tray can also be smooth or, in another aspect not smooth. As a non-limiting example, the tray can be formed to have holes, lines, pumps, etc. so that it is not smooth.
- These aspects are depicted further in the
FIGS. 1 through 10 .
