The second piece ofhexagon 1 g has an area equivalent to the area of thesmall trapezium 1 d plus the area of the first piece of hexagon 1 e. The second piece ofhexagon 1 g is assembled together with those pieces shown inFIG. 1 only. - All of the aforesaid pieces or elements constituting the jigsaw puzzle game of the present invention are made from wood material or plastic material. Preferably, all of the aforementioned pieces or elements are painted or coated with difference colors.
- There are two parts of the playing game. As for the first part, the player is to assemble the six pieces in several ways according to the schedule based on the numerals imprinted on the design. Two or three pieces can be shifted at one time such that the patterns generated due to assembly can be interconnected, thereby eventually forming a whole picture or drawing. The
pattern 24 can be converted back into the pattern 1 and vice versa. - By playing the jigsaw puzzle game of the present invention, since the player needs to ponder each and every time before assembling one piece relative to the existing piece, the thinking ability of young players are therefore inspired and aroused, thereby training the concentration, observation and intelligence of the players.
- As for the second part, the participants given with those six pieces plus a square piece, are required to assemble in several ways in order to form the second unit of design, a total of 36 designs. Two dices with different colors can be tossed so as to decide who is to assemble which designs existing along the columns or lines in predetermined order. Such type of competition is generally known as (IQ. VS. Puzzle).
- The following facts should be noticed during the assembling process.
- (i) since a portion of the pieces shown in the first part is not required to be moved, the pattern thus assembled may appear not at the correct view or angle.
- (ii) when moving the big trapezium, one must use its base or face for assembling with the other pieces in order to form a following pattern.
- (iii) In the even, the patterns assembled thereby cannot be connected to one another, the reason may resides in that there are two ways of assembling leading to the pattern. The player may be wrong in the assembling order or fails to use the standard assembling way.
- Rules for assembling: (1) the pattern should be selected according to the serial number; (2) the pieces are to move in accordance with the numbers of the intended pattern; (3) each time, the assembling should be conducted from exterior toward an interior thereof one piece at a time.
- Note that for the first and second parts, there are different assembling ways for most of the patterns. Some patterns are prevented from assembly due to the game restriction. One can plan out a new serial of patterns in accordance with the age and gender, and combine portion of the games together in order inspire and arouse the intelligence of younger kids.
- The following are the advantages provided by the jigsaw puzzle game of the present invention.
-
- (1) Most of the pieces have trigonometric shapes, are of different colors and the pattern thus assembled are connected to one another symmetrically along the left and right direction. That is one piece serves as the center or base such that the patterns in the first and second parts develop from the center.
- (2) There are six pieces in the first part of the game. For forming the pattern in the second part, only one square piece is added, thereby keeping our environment free from pollution due to lesser items.
- (3) Since the jigsaw puzzle game of the present invention provides a gradual learning and assembling method, the playing grades can be set according to different levels of age. The assembling way is simple since the player needs to move one to two pieces or three pieces at one time in order to form the intended pattern.
- (4) After trying the first part of the game, the player can try a harder part (the second part) of the game, which included 36 patterns arranged along the columns and lines under a proper serial. The selected pattern may be imprinted with English Letter, symbols, drawings of herbs or weapons (like rockets). It is relatively difficult to assemble or put together the pattern when compared to the first part of the patterns. Two dices with different colors can be tossed so as to decide who is to assemble which designs existing along the columns or lines in predetermined order, thereby encouraging the learning spirit of the players.
- To be more creative, it is advised to prepare a white board having magnetic ability. A magnet element should be embedded within each of the pieces such that after assembly of the pattern on the white board, the assembled pattern does not fall off or scatter easily from one another. A message note can be clamped by the assembled pattern.
- While the invention has been described in connection with what is considered the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is understood that this invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments but is intended to cover various arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and equivalent arrangements.
