lMPROVEME NT IN SUSPENDER-ENDS.

Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 204,166, dated May 28,1878; application filed May 1, 1878.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, EDWARD PAINTER, of

. portion and flat ends, the same being a new article of manufacture, as will be fully de-- scribed hereinafter. p

In the drawings, Figure 1 represents an elevation of the suspender-end complete; Fig. 2, cross-sections of the same Fig. 3, an elevation showing the internal core-threads and Fig. 4, an elevation of an end complete, appliedto the snspender.

To enable others skilled in the art to make my improved article, I will proceed to describe fully the characteristics of the same.

A, Fig. 1, represents a suspender-end which is woven in asingle piece, with a central tubular portion, a, and flat ends a a, as shown. It may be woven, in any proper manner, upon anyproperloom, and may be provided with button-holes formed in the weaving, or otherwise, as maybe preferred. B, Fig. 2, represents an internal core, which is properly held, in the process of weaving, in such manner as to be inclosed by the tubular portion of the web.

This article, it will be observed, possesses I I am aware that a Suspender-end having a tubular central portion and fluted ends, with and without core, is not new but heretofore these have not been so made as to be without a seam.

Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to'secure by Letters Patent, is-- 1. As a new article of manufacture, a seamless suspender-end woven in a single piece, with a tubular central portion and flat ends, substantially as described. e

2. As a new article of manufacture, a seamless suspender-end woven in one piece, with a tubular central portion having an internal core and with flat ends, substantially as described.
