A receptacle of the character described, comprising a box-body, a. cover hinged thereto, a tray disposed lengthwise of the box-body and hingedly suspended along its rear edge directly to the underside of the top wall of the cover, and connections between said tray and said box-body for maintaining the tray in a. substantially horizontal position during the opening and closing movements of the cover, said tray resting with its bottom side on the rear top edge of the boxbody in the open position or the cover and partially overlying the box-body forwardly of the cover-hinge and constituting a stop for limiting the opening movement of the cover beyond a predetermined position.

A receptacle of the character described, comprising a box-body, a cover hinged thereto, a tray disposed between said body and said cover and supported for movement with the cover relative to the body, said tray having an opening in its rear side, a hinge element applied to the underside of the top wall of thecover and including a loop engaging said tray-opening, and pivoted guide elements connecting the end portions of said tray with said box-body.
