IMPROVEMENT IN BRACELETS.-
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 183,374, dated October 17, 1876 application filed November 19, 1875.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PAUL J. GULLINAN, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Bracelet, of which the following is a specification:
The invention consists ofa wide solid band of horn, shell, rubber, or other suitable material capable of ornamental finish, and provided with circumferential or longitudinal slots in the back the object being, while admitting of the display of fancy colors, as
desired, through the openings in the band, to secure the greatest amount of elasticity without detracting from the strength of band.

Having thus described my invention,I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent A bracelet consisting of a solid band, provided with a series of parallel circumferential or longitudinal slots in its back, as shown anddescribed, for the purpose specified.
